What we're about

URGENT: This is a meetup for the PARENTS that have children who play an instrument or sing and would like them to take advantage of this rare opportunity to perform on stage. Meetup members must be at least 18 years old. Any children present at a Meetup must be supervised by a parent or guardian. The meetup is also for the EXPERIENCED MUSICIAN or BANDS that would like share their experience and mentor our youth in performance.

I am the founder of Live-2-Create Project Inc, a nonprofit organization with a mission to keep our youth focused in music by providing them with various opportunities and incentives. We have been providing a stage for the Hudson Valley youth to showcase their talents for the past 5 years. ALL INSTRUMENTS ARE WELCOME! STRING, BRASS, WOODWINDS etc..

Live-2-Create Project 501(C)(3) is now collaborating with the Hodge Podge Recording Studio on innovative ways to plant the seeds of our next generation of musicians all over the Hudson Valley. We are geared up to help the youth stay interested in becoming the future of our music scene. We are an organization dedicated to get the populous out to be entertained by the great talent in the Hudson Valley and beyond. We are dedicated in helping the local businesses that have anything to do with music and the like. As you know, in order to start a movement, like minded individuals, businesses and organizations join forces and work together towards a common goal. The L2CP Board of Directors are focused on bringing awareness to the local musicians and venues with extremely unique programs.

Live-2-Project Inc. was mentioned as one of the most innovative Youth Programs in NY State at the 43rd Annual Youth Development Conference in Albany NY. We are a proud member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) as we are music educators through performance.
We are seeking working Hudson Valley bands interested in mentoring local youth musicians providing an opportunity for future local musicians to get a taste of LIVE performance and gain some valuable performance experience and confidence. "Adopting" bands would rehearse 2 or 3 songs with any of our available young musicians who would learn the songs and add their part to your mix! Not only will this give them some great experience but it will bring more people to see and hear about your band! A win win!
By giving the youth of our area a chance to perform a few songs with local working bands we hope to develop and foster the growth of the next generation of performers. Plus in the process we hope to boost the existing local music scene by "playing it forward".
