Faith is often thought of as a noun, something we either possess or we lack. In addition, faith is also commonly equated with belief in God. These understandings of faith lead many Unitarian Universalists to dismiss it as an outmoded and irrelevant concept. But what if, instead, we think of faith as a verb, a process of actively and intentionally living our lives from the vantage point of what ultimately matters regardless of our beliefs about divinity?
