Formed in 1996 in Rockville, Maryland, O | A | R includes lead singer/rhythm guitarist Marc Roberge, lead guitarist Richard On, saxophonist Jerry DePizzo, bassist Benj Gershman and drummer Chris Culos. The band has released six studio and three live albums. Their latest, 2008's All Sides, launched the hit song ?Shattered.?

These hometown heroes return for one night only in a HEARD THE WORLD FUND charity event to benefit Neediest Kids, The Community Foundation of Montgomery County and the Levine School of Music.

O.A.R. has come to stand for authentic rock music that reflects the collective triumphs and tragedies we all experience in this world: Real people making real music that resounds deeply with their fans.

And what a crowd O.A.R. attracts. Hailed as one of the best live bands on the planet, O.A.R. has built a rabid following and a well deserved reputation as a must-see band when they come to town. They are 'Springsteen-esque' in the type of performance they provide.
