This short class is offered before every hike on Tuesday and Thursday.
Come at 8 AM since we leave for the hike at 8:15 AM.
Come and learn more without feeling obligated to hike afterward.
After this class you may join us for a short hike if you like. You are not required to stay and hike the whole time, however, if you do stay longer, we'll finish by 11:30 AM unless otherwise stated.

We offer 350+ outdoor adventures every year! As a Utah native, you'll quickly see that I am passionate about what I do. I love meeting and helping people of all ages and abilities, relieve whatever ails them, by coming and playing in my playground: the Wasatch Mountains AND beyond! If you come often, I guarantee you will meet many amazing people, from all over the world and from all walks of life, who have one thing in common: a desire to try something new and a love for the outdoors. I work hard to help you have a great time, the FIRST time and EVERY time you join us! Regardless of your age or ability, you will find a friendly, caring, safe atmosphere.
Every week since February 2003, I have been organizing, promoting and leading hikes and other outdoor adventures for thousands of people who either call this place home or are visiting. I started promoting all of my events on Meetup.com April 2010, so our following is much stronger than what appears on Meetup. People stream in from several sources besides Meetup.
I have also worked for KSL TV, Studio 5, as an Outdoor Adventure contributor.
Born and raised in Holladay, Utah, at the foot of Mt. Olympus, in the Wasatch Mountains, I got serious about leading outdoor adventures in my 40's, once our four children were older. My teenage years were spent in Colorado in Golden area, the western area of Denver and the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
In addition to helping people live an active, adventurous life, I am equally passionate about my community, working gardens which allows members to 1) get hands on gardening experience, 2) learn how to grow their own food 3) save hundreds of dollars on groceries by eating an abundance of harvest that we produce each year.
In my 20's, I majored in Musical Theater at U of U, BYU Provo and BYU Idaho, so I am a mountain woman and farmer who also is a performer!
