What we're about

We host several friendly regular meetups for anyone who enjoys playing board games and lives in the Liverpool area. If you're new I'd recommend the Thursday or Monday meetup to get started, but you're welcome at any meetup, just make sure to RSVP!

New faces are very welcome, and everyone is always happy to explain the rules if you haven't played a particular game before.

Evenings usually start out with light and party games such as: Codenames, Coup, Secret Hitler, Avalon and Love Letter; to give people time to arrive and eat; before transitioning into longer games. Games played at recent meetups include: Terraforming Mars, Terra Mystica, Takenoko, Ticket to Ride, The Downfall of Pompeii, Between Two Cities and 7 Wonders.

Please remember that the games available belong to other members, make sure to take care of them, keep drinks away/on mats, refrain from bending or chewing pieces, and pack them up neatly and before putting them back in the place you got it from. A quick, “whose is this, can we play?“, goes a long way too!

We also host a slack group for casual gaming chat, which you can request an invite (https://liverpool-boardgames.herokuapp.com/) for by simply providing your email address!

I hope we will see your face soon!
