What we're about

Liverpool Shamanic Circle is a circle of people with an interest in shamanic practices. We seek to encourage and contribute to the consciousness, self-actualisation and spiritual awakening of individuals, groups, society at large and ultimately mankind as a whole. We extend greetings to all our brothers and sisters.

We welcome anyone with an interest in trance work, shamanic traditions, spirituality or similar. We meet regularly to engage in spiritual practice, particularly journeying with drumming. Journeying is a means through which we can grow by learning about ourselves and reality. Journeying is a powerful tool and we provide a context in which to make use of this tool but it is the individual who must do the work. The group is for those who wish to undertake sincere practice. We provide the means, the environment and the support for those courageous enough to take on the personal challenge of facing inward and making conscious their authentic self.

We publish recordings of our drumming and journeying sessions at shamanicrecordings.com (http://shamanicrecordings.com/) for the benefit of our circle members and the wider community. We hope that by publishing recordings for the wider community we will attract those of like mind to our circle and also assist those who are not geographically close to cultivate their own practice and form their own groups.

We have a discussion board here (http://www.meetup.com/Liverpool-Shamanic-Circle/messages/boards/).
