Pondering Difficult Scripture

Almost all spiritual paths have sacred words written down that have become foundational to that path. These words are frequently called Scripture. They are considered the words of God, or God’s messengers, or from people so holy and so wise that their words become canon.

This service explores constructive pondering difficult Scripture – not “their” difficult Scripture, but “our” difficult Scripture. Steven will draw examples from his own, Jewish, tradition during the service; and we’ll take some time during the social hour to gather and talk about any ponderings about our own traditions we might want to share – always in the spirit of sharing rather than “converting” or “condemning.”
