What we're about

The Living Interfaith Sanctuary provides a welcoming, respectful, and nurturing religious community for people of goodwill from all spiritual paths. We share who we are and celebrate our diversity, not to convert or convince, but in realization of our common humanity.

Everyone who has an interest in religious or spiritual matters - and who is coming with an open mind and a sincere interest in talking to and learning from others - is welcome to join us.

You can read more about us on our website here: https://livinginterfaithsanctuary.ca/.

Interfaith Service - The Baha'i Feast of 'Ala

Grace Memorial United Church

Our Interfaith community will be honoring the Baha'i Faith's annual "Feast of 'Ala." Unlike a feast in the secular community, this feast is meant for the spirit and includes abstaining from food. Please join us for a sharing of spiritual texts, songs, and prayers from a variety of religious traditions. We will be led by Surrey Interfaith Council member and Baha'i group leader, Connie Waterman. To learn more, please check out our service schedule and website at: https://livinginterfaithsanctuary.ca/service-schedule/. We hope to see you there!

Our First Service - Welcome to Living Interfaith!

Grace Memorial United Church

This will be our very first service! Please come with an open mind and invite anyone else who seems like they might be interested. Our first two services will be about the spirit of Interfaith and what we think might be gained by honoring our various traditions together. After that, most of our services will be geared to particular religious holidays, festivals, and rituals, with the tradition in question rotating each week so that we can all learn the most from one another. To learn more, check out our service schedule and website at: https://livinginterfaithsanctuary.ca/service-schedule/. We hope to see you there!
