Hi! I've thought of you often and miss you and Don! There is a wonderful sounding event--- I think, with Diane Kaufman, at the Depot-- a lovely place-- in Hillsboro tomorrow at 1:00 pm--- do you know about it? I will try to send you some info. Sorry this is so last minute-- I'm going to try to get there-- would be great to see u there.

I am so behind in communication-- I gave not studied your poetry event schedule... Pardon me if I am sending a request that conflicts with another event.

I hope you are well. I hope to see you soon!

Peace and joy!

Hello - Good Morning!

This week's prompt is: write a poem using an idiom or set of idioms.

Generate all the idioms you can think of involving a particular word or combination of words.  Let the ideas flow, then write a poem incorporating one or many of the idioms you've listed.
Create new idioms that are variations on familiar idiom. Choose your own, or try one of these:  over, under, through, green, night, only, run, head, foot.
Here's a site that can generate idiom lists for you.  This link shows the list for "run." . Enter you own word if you like.

If you want, share your poem with us on the message board by posting a reply to this entry. I am looking forward to reading your work!

Have a wonderful week!
'till next Monday...
