My PaD modeled after Robert Service

Inspired by Robert Service’s “The Men Who Don’t Fit In”

“He’s a rolling stone, and it’s bred in the bone.
He’s a man who won’t fit in.”
Must have misheard “to get along, go ALONE.”
But the good ones can take it on the chin.

So he tries to bulk with moral muscle tone
But is freckled and flawed as Huck Finn.
The dishonest graces he never would hone
And needs a tailor to stitch his own skin.

The world is rubbed raw by this emery stone.
He can be his own evil conjoined twin
It’s his own faults that he cannot condone,
the last believer in Original Sin.
