What is your favorite quote?

Woodrow Call: [after handing the gun to Newt] It is better to have that and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

What is your philosophy on life and living with chronic disease?

Gus McCrae: It's not dying I'm talking about, it's living.

Who inspires you and why?

My cousins 6yo son who has a very rare form of cancer, has lost one eye and is currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy to save him. Despite all this he still has a smile on his face and is enjoying his life.

What would your advice be to someone just beginning on a chronic disease journey?

Please fasten your seat belts, put your tray tables in the upright position, and hold on tight, because its going to be a bumpy ride. :)

Married working mother of two teens with Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, IBS, TMJ and major depression. Love photography, crafting, my chow chows, volunteering and debating political issues of today.
