Special Sunday Supper w/ Rylee Keys and Donna Williams

Budding raw food chefs Rylee Keys and Donna Williams are preparing a very special Asian Fusion menu this Sunday. All menu items are free of gluten, soy and yeast.

-Miso Ginger Pho This soup comes to life with a broth of chickpea miso, lemon, and ginger. With savory marinated mushrooms, bright green scallions, and kelp noodles that melt in your mouth, it's a refreshing savory delight.

-Goddess Sesame Salad A vibrant mixed greens farm-fresh salad with creamy sesame ginger goddess dressing.

-Almond Basil Pate A light savory pate with fresh farmer's market basil.

-Sesame crackers these tasty crackers have a buckwheat base, are lightly spiced, and speckled with sunflower seeds.

-Orange Cardamom Smoothie A light touch of spice makes this creamy hazelnut and orange based smoothie a delicious treat.

-Mo' Chi Mochi A decadent raw tribute to the classic Japanese desert, featuring Bishops I-Scream (in three scrumptious flavors)!

The requested donation for this event is $10-20. Please RSVP your attendance for this event early, so that Rylee can make sure to have the proper amount of food prepared!

Christ the Healer's Sunday Supper is hosted by Gabrielle Chavez, author of The Raw Food Gourmet: Going Raw for Total Well-Being. Come at 5:30pm to enjoy community conversation and this week's catered raw gourmet dinner by Andy Williams. At about 6:30pm we will break to read and discuss a story from the Gospel of Mark, followed by prayer and communion, ending at 7pm.

This is a catered raw food meal. Please RSVP or call Gabrielle at 503-650-4447.

5:30 - dinner and sharing around the tables
6:30 to 7:00 (optional) - circle time, including story-discussion, prayer, and raw communion.
