Come join us on Sept 18 for the Tour de Troit bike ride as we have a unique opportunity to tour some of the city's historic areas, explore street art and take in its fabulous architecture.
Tour de Troit is a leisurely ride of approximately 26 miles with a police escort.
The ride starts and finishes at Roosevelt Park in the shadow of the Michigan Central Station, located at the intersection of Michigan Ave and Fourteenth St in Corktown. After the ride, there will be a celebratory party with food, beverages and music.

PACKET PICKUP is ride day from 7 - 8:45am at Roosevelt Park.
Line up into chutes starts at 8:30am. THE RIDE STARTS AT 9AM.
DETAILS: ALL cyclists must wear their BIB and bike helmet at all times. To protect the safety of our riders, please note that no bags over 420 cubic inches (6.9 L) will be permitted on the ride. You must bring your own water bottle and will have opportunities to fill at the start/finish of the ride, as well as on Belle Isle, but no water bottles or cups will be provided – this is a green event. Further details on logistics to follow.
Parking: Michigan Avenue will have limited access to vehicular traffic on the day of the event between 14th and 20th streets at 7:30AM. There will be no parking in the park or on Michigan Avenue along the park.
When I went 2yrs ago we parked at the MGM and rode our bikes over. It worked out pretty well.

Could join us for a
Canoe or kayak toward the setting sun to Milford Central Park. Leave your kayak at the Park and walk into town for an adult beverage and/or dinner
and then paddle back under the moon light.
And after you finish, enjoy the full moon while sitting around the bonfire.

For those of you that can't make Octoberfest in Frankenmuth here's a local Octoberfest in Brighton. Featuring food festival beer and entertainment.
We will be sitting outside unless inclement weather. I'm going to try to limit this event to 20 people or less I will try to get there at 5:30 to save a couple of tables and hopefully somebody can join me.
Please note this is a beer only establishment and feel free to dress up in your German clothes. More Information is in the link below
