What we're about

Local Sports League - Tennis - Toronto chapter is a competitive league where players of same skill compete with each other in Greater Toronto. Available skill levels are NTRP 2.5 to 5.0.

Tennis enthusiast who wants to improve their skill level should join this group. Don't worry, it’s not a usual 3-day league with fixed venue and time.

• One league runs for three months where you play up to 7 matches in first two months, half matches in your home court and half at opponent court. We call it the First-Round.

• The toppers of First-Round then compete in Knock-Out tournament over next one month. We call it the Knock-Out round.

Please visit http://www.localsportsleague.com to register for the leagues.

1. Players create an account and update their profile (first time only).

2. Players register for upcoming leagues based on their skill level and provide home court location.

3. We make groups of players according to their skill level and home court location. Then we will publish the schedule of what we call "First-Round" on the website.

4. Players contact their opponents to schedule the matches and play half matches in their home court and half in opponent home court.

5. Players report the score on the http://www.localsportsleague.com after the match is played.

6. Top players from each group then compete in a Knock-Out tournament to claim the league. We call it the Knock-Out round.

It’s that simple. We will publish city rankings after every league.
