The singular purpose of this divinely orchestrated mind-training programme is the remembrance of the eternal Self you thought was lost. At this time and in this place we will be pointing directly at ‘That which is of God’, in all its gracious and eternal simplicity. Uncovering the self-illusion is to see it for what it is. Incapable of hiding, it is first forgiven, then transformed and disappears as Christ arises from within.

“Salvation requires the acceptance of but one thought;–you are as God created you, not what you made of yourself.” W.93.7

The Course provides a unique means to bring about its primary aim to restore awareness of our true identity in Christ. It is the acceptance of the singularity of your true mind and real thoughts, in which the false identity, the self-illusion, is no longer an obstacle to this remembrance.

“What you think you are is a belief to be undone. But what you really are must be revealed to you. The belief you are a body calls for correction, being a mistake. The truth of what you are calls on the strength in you to bring to your awareness what the mistake conceals.” W-91.6

“If you are as God created you, then there has been no separation of your mind from His, no split between your mind and other minds, and only unity within your own.” W.110.4

“You are as God created you. The sounds of this world are still, the sights of this world disappear, and all the thoughts that this world ever held are wiped away forever by this one idea. Here is salvation accomplished. Here is sanity restored.” W.94.1
