LMTOM Innovation – Improving shared services through a new, DLT-enabled, decentralized business model (with a short introduction to how Everledger insures diamonds on the blockchain)

GENERAL THEME: In 2017 the London Market Target Operating Model (LMTOM) commissioned a feasibility study that asked the question: Could a new, more effective, and significantly lower cost operating model be created for premium and claims processing between brokers and carriers using emerging innovative technologies?” The answer from the study was an unequivocal ‘yes’. Join us to hear Areiel Wolanow, one of the authors of that study, share the results and the thinking behind it, including a detailed explanation of how DLT enables a completely new business model. Followed by a panel discussion and networking time.
