This is an informal, practical, hands-on workshop. We’ll look at how much people in different countries drink – and how long they live; investigate why passengers survived or perished on the Titanic; analyse the text of a BBC News article; and, if time allows, visualise the risk and revenue of a (fictitious) bank.
Each of the examples will start with a quick 5-minute intro and demo then there will be a guided exercise for about 20 minutes.
Bring your own laptop. We'll send joining instructions a week before the event - instructions how to download and install the (free) Power BI and links to some public datasets that we'll use in the exercises
This is a repeat of the event on September 18th.
