CWC Event Invite at the Canadian High Commission October 19th- speaking opportunity

Dear all,

Apologies for the mass e-mail-

As part of a new series of monthly hospitality evenings for Canadian professional women in London, on Friday October 19th at 6:30pm the Canadian Women’s Club are delighted to invite you to join us at the Canadian High Commission for a special networking evening.

Our first speaker Tiffany Saibil is a long distance Canadian endurance racer and business development professional and she will share her lessons learned from endurance racing, with photos from the Marathon DesSables (MDS). In the last two years she has moved from an occasional runner to a “professional amateur” in ultra-marathons, placing 8th at the MDS, “one of the toughest footraces on earth”.

What kind of a person wants to spend a week running 250km across the Moroccan desert, risking sand storms and scorpion bites, eating only what they can carry and crawling into a tent to sleep each night? Tiffany Saibil is such a person, but she certainly doesn’t fit the ironman stereotype.

Please let me know if you are interested in attending or would like to be sent details of future events. As the lead organizer for this series, I'm also on the hunt for great Canadian speakers! The CWC is wonderful organisation to be affiliated with- they have had a presence in London for over 60 years so do let me know if you would like to discuss this opportunity further.
