About The Organiser - Meera Shah
Meera Shah is a Qualified Professional Career Coach and trainer that helps managers and executives to advance their careers. She has worked in industry as a Qualified Accountant in leading global companies such as Unilever, Goldman Sachs and Accenture.
Originally from Kenya, she has lived and worked in London for the last 7 years. She therefore has had to personally overcome many barriers to get where she wants to be. This includes making that leap to come and live in the UK, meeting resistance from UK employers faced with overseas experience and consultants telling her she was worth less than she really was! She eventually found her own value and her understanding of how frustrating and mentally challenging career experiences gives her empathy to deal with such issues.
