Starring
James Corden, Colm Meaney, Julie Walters, Alexandra Roach, Jemima Rooper, Mackenzie Crook

Director David Frankel

Synopsis

James Corden leads an all-star cast in the uplifting true story of TV talent show sensation Paul Potts. Paul Potts (James Corden) is a shy young amateur opera singer. He works as a mobile phone salesman in Bridgend with his best friend (Mackenzie Crook) and marries Julie-Ann (Alexandra Roach), who he meets in an internet chatroom. But this smalltown boy's uneventful life changes forever with the flip of a coin. When it turns up heads, he submits his entry to Simon Cowell's new TV show, 'Britain's Got Talent'. At an audition in Cardiff, Paul stuns the audience with his powerful performance of Puccini's 'Nessun Dorma'. Suddenly, his career sky-rockets and he goes from near-bankruptcy to superstardom! Co-produced by Simon Cowell himself, this funny and touching true-life rags to riches tale is directed by David Frankel of 'The Devil Wears Prada' fame. The outstanding supporting cast also includes Colm Meaney and Julie Walters as Paul's parents.

Tickets ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have a Cineworld Unlimited card you need to show this at the box office to collect a free ticket. Otherwise please just buy your own ticket in the normal way (if you book online in advance you can get a 10% discount).

Cineworld Unlimited
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
London Cinema Meetup hosts a lot of events at Cineworld cinemas (usually for seeing the latest releases, most commonly in the West End). If you like watching films regularly (more than once a month) it might be cheaper to buy a Cineworld Unlimited card for £18.90 a month - this allows you to watch as many films as you like at Cineworld cinemas (including the ones we normally use in the West End, in Shaftesbury Avenue or in Haymarket). It also gives you a 10% discount off food and drink bought in the cinemas, and some local discount offers too. There is a cheaper version of the card for £15.90, but this is not valid for the Cineworld cinemas in the West End. Currently there is an offer of getting 'one free month' if you sign up using the promotion code below:
RAF-47FC-23RM-48YF-03WP
This code has to be entered in the payments section under "promotions".
Please check terms and conditions. To obtain a card you can use this website (you will need a digital photo of your face, which will appear on the card to identify you)
