Film Description ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Starring: Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lawrence, Jacki Weaver, Chris Tucker
Director: David O. Russell
Running Time: 122 minutes
Genre: Drama, Comedy

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence star in a quirky, poignant comedy about two damaged people rebuilding their lives. Former schoolteacher Pat Solitano (Bradley Cooper) is released from a state psychiatric institution into the care of his mother (Jacki Weaver) and father (Robert DeNiro). Despite having lost his house, his job and his wife, optimistic Pat remains determined to seek silver linings. But reuniting with his wife proves a challenge, especially as she's filed a restraining order against him. Then he meets the mysterious Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a young widow who's just as volatile and medicated as himself. She agrees to help blunt and tactless Pat rebuild his marriage, but has an odd favour to ask in return. Based on the bestselling novel by Matthew Quick, this heartfelt romantic comedy from 'Flirting with Disaster' and 'The Fighter' director David O. Russell gets brilliant performances from a powerhouse cast.

Tickets ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you have a Cineworld Unlimited card you need to show this at the box office to collect a free ticket. Otherwise please just buy your own ticket in the normal way (if you book online in advance you may be able to get a 10% discount, eg £11.70 instead of £13).

London Cinema Meetup hosts a lot of events at Cineworld cinemas (usually for seeing the latest releases, most commonly in the West End or at the O2 in Greenwich). If you like watching films regularly (more than once a month) it might be cheaper to buy a Cineworld Unlimited card for £17.99 a month - this allows you to watch as many films as you like at Cineworld cinemas (including the ones we normally use in the West End, in Shaftesbury Avenue or in Haymarket). It also gives you a 10% discount off food and drink bought in the cinemas, and some local discount offers too. There is a cheaper version of the card for £14.99, but this is not valid for the Cineworld cinemas in the West End. Currently there is an offer of getting 'one free month' if you sign up using the promotion code below:

This code has to be entered in the payments section under "promotions".
Please check terms and conditions. To obtain a card you can use this website (you will need a digital photo of your face, which will appear on the card to identify you):
