Johann Sebastian Bach may be considered the father of the German musical tradition. In this treat for Bach lovers, David Roblou (harpsichord), Lynda Sayce (lute) and Penelope Spencer (violin) (left) perform rarely heard violin sonatas by Bach.
This incredibly beautiful, and at times bizarre music is a great introduction to the music of the most famous composer of the Baroque. Lynda Sayce has also arranged the famous Wiess/Bach suite (originally for lautenwerke) for violin and lute - a rare opportunity to hear this wonderful and atmospheric piece.
This concert is at London's newest classical music venue in a gorgeous wood-panelled intimate hall, ideal for chamber music, and just a short walk from Kings Cross Station.
