The IMAX cinema in the Science Museum London shows Hidden Universe 3D, a beautiful movie about space, Earth, Mars, the sun, distant planets, nebulas and galaxies. Have a look at the trailer below
There are lots and lots of other interesting exhibitions at the Science Museum, one being the permanent installation "Listening post", which beautifully displays feeds from online chatrooms in real time. Another temporary installation is "Drawing in motion", which also is a plain simple BEAUTIFUL installation. Have a look at the second video
Let's meet at 2pm in the entrance hall of the Science Museum. The movie "Hidden Universe 3D" starts at 15:45, so we will have lots of time to see the 2 installations above plus to explore a bit more of the Science museum.
I would advise buying a ticket for the movie in advance. It's the Sunday between Christmas and New Year, so there will be lots of daddies taking their kids to the science museum. A ticket costs £10 and can be bought here: https://www.maximweb.co.uk/sciencemuseum/events.aspx . Please buy a ticket for the 15:45 screening on the 29th.
Have a wonderful Christmas if you do celebrate it. See you on the 29th :-)
