This is a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential group for gay & bi men* who are (or are considering) using psychedelic substances for personal or spiritual growth, improved mental health, or an improved relationship with sex and/or party drugs.
Books such as How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan, Stealing Fire by Steven Kotler & Jamie Wheal, and A Really Good Day: How Microdosing Made a Mega Difference in My Mood, My Marriage, and My Life by Ayelet Waldman, have brought an awareness of the possible psychological benefits of psychedelic use into the mainstream, and you can hear scientist Roland Griffiths talking about some of the current research by clicking here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81-v8ePXPd4).
'Psychedelic' comes from two Greek words: 'psyche' meaning 'mind', and 'delos' meaning clear, revealing, or manifesting. The group is for people who are struggling to make sense of a challenging psychedelic experience, wishing to share a meaningful one, or simply interested in learning more about psychedelics, and meeting like-minded people
No illegal substances will be consumed or provided at these meetings.
These groups are about peer support, and are facilitated by other gay and bi men* rather than trained psychotherapists.
There is no charge to attend meetings - we want this to be accessible to everyone - and donations are welcome to help us continue running the group.
Meetings will be held as close to Central London as possible; we're still looking for an appropriate, regular venue.
