What we're about

This is a new Meetup group for Heads of People, HR BPs, Chief People Officers and those that want to learn from People Leaders and aspire to one day step into a role like this.

We have already held our first virtual roundtable on how to lead a team in a crisis, and now have our second on how to retain technical staff, which includes a guest speaker an ex-CTO who runs multiple technical communities and has co-founded a company which was acquired by Microsoft.

We are looking to run a series of events which can help with networking, learning and mentoring to become a better people leader, with a focus around tech based companies. Hoping to give those in people positions better insight into the minds of those in tech positions.

What’s the purpose of the group?
Networking, learning and mentoring to become a better people leader, with a focus around tech based companies.
This is a supportive place where you can come and ask the questions you were too afraid to ask before.

Who should join?
Heads of People, HR BPs, Chief People Officers and those that want to learn from People Leaders and aspire to one day step into a role like this. Especially those that work within the tech industry and have a desire to understand more about the industry and those that work within it.

What will you do at your events?
A range of different events including roundtable discussions, talks/presentations, mentoring events all designed to help you become a better people leader.
