Historical Fiction Book Group - another call for votes for January/February

From: Justin

Hi everyone

If you haven't yet voted for our January and February choices, please do so as soon as possible. It's neck and neck at the moment, so a few more votes could make all the difference!

I would like to finalise our selection within the next few days so people can start ordering the January book at least.

Details of the choices are here:

And you can vote in the poll here:

In short, we are choosing a historical character. In January, we will read a biography or memoir about that person. And in February, we will read a novel about the same person.

The characters we are choosing from are:

  • Alfred the Great
  • Katherine Parr
  • Christopher Marlowe
  • Nell Gwyn
  • Madame Tussaud
  • Ernest Hemingway

See the link above for details of the actual books on each person.

If you're too lazy to vote in the online poll, just send me your choice by email and I'll add it to the voting at the end. (But ideally vote in the poll for the sake of transparency!)

Have a great weekend everyone.
