London Historical Fiction Book Group - Send suggestions for next book

Hi all

Welcome to all new members. Hope to meet you soon.

The book for our upcoming meetup is already selected: we discuss "A Bloody Field by Shrewsbury" by Edith Pargeter on Monday, 5 November. Please RSVP if you haven't done so yet. Hope to see you there.

The meetup after that one will be in January (Monday the 14th). It may seem a way off but I'd like to get the book for that selected as soon as possible so please email me with any suggestions or recommendations you may have. If you're not sure what's suitable, ask me. But generally, it can be any historical novel that's currently in print in paperback - provided it's not too long (up to about 450 pages tops).

Once I have a few options, I'll put up a poll for us to choose the book.

All the best
