8 Week Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC)
The Mindfulness Based Living Course is a weekly 2.5 hour Mindfulness Training Course. It is one of only six courses listed on the UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teachers Website. Designed by the Mindfulness Association and based on their level 1 Mindfulness Training programme. This course is designed to provide a strong foundation and understanding of Mindfulness Practice in everyday life.
The course will be delivered by Dean, Aesha, Mauricio and Barbara of the Urban Mindfulness Foundation. It will explore mindfulness as a self care plan that connects mind and body through the strengthening of awareness and attention to present moment experience.
Research shows this training can facilitate the ability to respond to the challenges of everyday life rather than react to them.
This eight week MBLC course also serves as part of the recognised prerequisites for undertaking the Mindfulness in Schools Project Teacher Training courses including the .b (dot be) and Pause B courses.
