London MUG March Meetup

Bryan Reinero, one of our US-based Developer Advocates will be in town, he will:

• Give an overview of MongoDB 3.2

• Explain the best way to create and deploy infrastructure for MongoDB

• Discuss using Spark for MongoDB Analytics

There will be food and drink supplied on the night. For those who aren’t suffering too much after their St Patrick’s night exertions :-) We will retire to a local pub for extended conversation.

Kick off is at 6.00pm at’s offices. The presentations should last about 2 hours, including breaks.

I will be in town that night as well to introduce myself as the new Director of Developer Advocacy for MongoDB in EMEA.

I hope to see as many of you as possible on the night.

All the best,

Joe Drumgoole
EMEA Director of Developer Advocacy

Brilliant evening enjoyed the presentation. For those of you who are interest I do have the whole thing on video and uploaded to YouTube. Sorry for the audio quality due to background music etc but it's not too bad. Part-1 Event Sourcing: Part-2 MongoDB & SPARK:

In my opinion that is the right level of presentation for meetup. How written into documentation, and help provided by forums ...
Of course, if speakers are such a high level (fantastic, in my own opinion), going deep into the topic is much faster...
I understand that many of us are just beginners or never had complex Enterprise level use cases, so look to figure out "How to...". I am available to support... just ask.

Thanks very much for that presentation.

A really good turn out. Interesting talk, maybe not as Mongo'd as I would have liked, but it's always good to be introduced to things that wouldn't normally be on my radar. Just being aware of something, can be half the battle.

A good speaker. Thanks to those involved in setting it up.
