• Ducklings!!! (+ flower photography) - FREE photo walk at Regent's Park.

Join us for a free photo walk in Regent's Park at an amazing time of year. The ducklings have been spotted recently and, as always, they are cute! But they won't stay that way for long so we hope to see you this weekend. Note: This is a combined event between two groups. I'll update number of people coming from other group with +3, +4, etc. https://www.meetup.com/land-wild/ See http://dionhitchcock.com/regents-park-april-2019/ for more images of the ducklings (and other wildlife) from the past few days at Regent's Park and what to expect photographically. We'll meet at 2pm on Sunday inside Starbucks Euston Tower, NW1 3DP, near Warren Street tube station. After a bit of a chat and waiting for any stragglers, we'll spend some time discussing composition and camera settings then head over to Regent's Park to explore what spring at one of the Royal Parks has to offer...which is lots! We'll be looking at wildlife and flower photography in particular. Professional photographer and photo guide for the highly regarded Iceland Photo Tours company, Dion Hitchcock, will guide you through his old haunt and neighbouring park, and be on hand to give advice and answer any questions. As the photographic opportunities are many we recommend to bring: A "walk-around" lens (such as a kit zoom lens) Telephoto lens should you be lucky enough to have one (for wildlife). Macro lens should you be even luckier enough to have one, or a 50mm lens to give some magic bokeh with the flower photos. Dion will have a professional body and telephoto/macro lenses which he'll be able to lend and teach members with (just bring your own blank SD card). We hope to see you Sunday but if you can't make it please mention in the comments and we can look at also scheduling another meetup...before the ducklings get too big!
