What we're about

The London Paleo Group is a place for all people interested in evolutionary nutrition and fitness. Whether a well-read paleo enthusiast considering learning how to make your own ghee or complete newbie embarking on the ‘caveman diet’ – we all practice our own version of paleo and enjoy sharing ideas, recipes, successes, failures and plenty of banter at our Meetups.

We'll aim for a meal of sorts every 4-6 weeks (and once in a while, try to make them kid friendly too!). Other than that: walks, natural movement sessions, farmer’s market trips, educational sessions and much more.

In order to keep on top of our Meetup fees we do charge £2 per head for Meetups. We will add this to restaurant bills or collect on the day so no need pay upfront.

We hope you’ll choose to join and look forward to seeing you at a Meetup soon

New Year Meet Up... What Is Paleo and Is It Becoming Extinct?

Hi Guys.... I'm so excited about our first Meet Up of 2019. The Mediterranean Diet has officially been declared as the healthiest diet to follow in 2019. And as we all know, Paleo Principles feature highly in the Med Lifestyle (and it's not just about food by the way). I'm really stoked about our first event; especially to meet and help those of you who are embarking on this new lifestyle. It's life changing in an incredible way. This is going to be a great way to meet like minded people, make friends, get advice and learn from each other. The event is going to be super relaxed and chilled and the first of many more to come. I am going to give a short talk on : "What Paleo means (and what it doesn't)" "How to get started on this life altering pathway" "Some of the medical conditions i've cured using a Paleo Template" And I’m incredibly excited to announce a guest speaker.... ⭐️Darryl Edwards from Primal Play⭐️! Darryl is a movement coach and a thought-leader in the area of creativity and innovation in the fitness and health space. He is the author of the 2018 best-selling book "Animal Moves" (Animalmovesbook.com) and blogs frequently about the science of movement at PrimalPlay.com Darryl's work has been published in Men's Health, Woman's Health, Elle Magazine, Men's Fitness and featured on the BBC documentaries "Eat to Live Forever" and "Doctors in the House". He has also been featured in the international documentaries "Love Paleo" and "The Human Longevity Project". On top of this, Darryl speaks at PaleoFX every year (and all around the world), and spoken on the biohacking panel there since 2013, and is very active in the Biohacking & Health Optimisation space. We're super lucky to have him speak! :) He has agreed to donate some of his super precious time to come and give a little talk on the future Paleo Lifestyle and also Primal Movement. I am in talks right now with the owner of the venue to see if I can work out any deals for food. For any of you who haven’t been, The Natural Kitchen is a short walk from both Marylebone Station (National Rail and also Bakerloo) and Paddington (National Rail, Hammersmith and City, Bakerloo and District). Also very easily accessible by car with lots of off street parking.... COME ON GUYS!! let’s kick off VegJanuary in style with eating loads of veggies and MEAT!!!! Hahahahahaha!! Thank you all for participating so far. In Health Ashvy x
