Discussion: Plato's Cave: "under-standing" and the meaning of life (Rick Lewis)
But what does it mean? Plato imagines a group of people imprisoned in a cave without any knowledge of the outside world. The message? These underground dwellers are us! How might this be true? The presenter will take a few minutes to introduce the topic, and will then open the topic to the floor and moderate the discussion. The event will run from 2.30 to 4 pm
