Dear all

Thank you for contributing to a very successful event last night. I do think we should engage more with these questions. John Alderdice is a wonderful example of applied psychoanalysis.

Freud was a conflict theorist eschewing simplistic monism and has so much to contribute to our thinking about these huge issues.

We hope to continue the discussion next year in another event. I thought you might be interested meantime in the essay by John below.
