We’ll be hearing from three excellent speakers, who will each be sharing their tips on ‘The Route to Social Success’.
Cheri Percy (https://twitter.com/thedivinehammer), Distilled’s own content and social queen, will be talking about some of the tips and tricks she’s learnt in her transition from fronting a band to managing the Distilled community. She’ll be sharing her experiences of everything from successful email marketing campaigns to manning that corporate Twitter account; be that for your band or boss!
Kieran Flanagan (https://twitter.com/searchbrat), Marketing Director at Hubspot, will be sharing with us ‘The Story of Content & Context’. We all know that the most difficult part of marketing today is being able to reach the right audience with the right message at the right time. How do we ensure our communication stands out for the people we need to reach? Well, this presentation will give some examples of how inbound marketing can attract the right audience and, using context, turn that traffic into something valuable.
Our last presentation of the evening will be from First Conversion founder Stephen Croome (https://twitter.com/firstconversion?utm_source=Distilled+contact+list&utm_campaign=cf32aeb9a3-SLSAN_who%27sspeaking_alreadybought_200613&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0e835b53c2-cf32aeb9a3-). Stephen will be presenting on 'What Spending $500k on Facebook Ads Taught Me'. He will share the lessons learnt from spending this amount on paid advertising for two startups; covering the difference between Facebook and Google advertising, and the software, approach and ad types that finally allowed Facebook ads to compete with Google PPC.
Along with the presentations, you’ll also be able to enjoy a nice refreshing beer or wine and some nibbles courtesy of Hubspot (http://www.hubspot.com/) who have kindly offered to sponsor the bar. (Thanks guys!)
The evening will begin at 6:30pm, with the first presentation at 7pm.
Spaces are limited for this free event, so register your place now (http://www.distilled.net/events/distilled-live-london/) to avoid disappointment.
