25 Moorgate, London
We're kicking off the New Year with travel on the mind. Where are you heading this year? What was the best holiday you've had? Come along and inspire or be inspired by others.
If you don't have any travel plans yet, and just looking to exchange some ideas and meet others who enjoy travelling you are more than welcomed to join us.
Who know's you may even meet your next travel companion or group of people to travel with!
Half price drinks until 8pm :)
About the host:
I'm Kelly. I love travelling. Usually more off the beaten track type experiences, then the standard easy jet sales. I've hosted over 400 meetups and absolutely love hosting events and giving free hugs on arrival :) I'm a wine and dating expert and enjoy sharing my quirky antics, so do say hello!
We usually have an even balance of gender between the ages of 30-50, but as long as you 'feel' within this age you are welcome to join the fun! It is a place where single people gather to meet friends. Women talk to women, and men talk to men. It's all about meeting new people to expand your horizons and if you happen to click with someone, bonus!
Bring your a date, your mates, or come on your own.
If attending on your own, please don't be nervous. Most people will also be on their own. Our group is not clicky and always welcoming to new people. We will have event host on the night to make sure everyone is having fun and making introductions if required.
About the venue:
Retro and trendy open space with seating if required. We always get a lot of compliments on this venue. The Gable is one of our faviourte bars for socials. It's 100% private to our guest. Plenty of booth areas for more intimate chatting and a large area near the bar to mix and mingle. We control the noise level of the music so that there is a buzz, but you can still enjoy conversation.

The Goddess of Siduri is pro wine, pro travel, pro love, pro sex, pro marriage & pro joy. If you are nervous about walking in on your own, please don't be. After you check in and receive an optional free hug, just smile and look for the nearest smile and say hello. At this event you can walk up to anyone and introduce yourself and you will be greeting with openness.
I've created a travel ice breaker game to help you start conversations with new people, we encourage women to chat to women, and men to men, so please don't feel like this is a high pressured singles event. It's just friends, meeting friends.
Never feel bad about excusing yourself by being honest and saying, 'It was nice to meet you, I'd like to do some mingling. Hope to see you a bit later on.' Shake hands and smile.
If you are coming alone don't worry. Most people attend on their own, and it's a very friendly group.
Please chat with people standing at the bar. This is one of the best places to meet people :)
