I've had such a great response from people wanting me to put on more church meetups. This is also a great chance to just stop by and say hi, if you are looking for a non-alcohol related social too. All are welcomed, and you don't need to stay for the service
4:15 pm - Men and women will join us at Starbucks that will be going to church with us or those that just want to have a quick chat and coffee.
5:15 pm - Intro to what's happening at the Church (Optional)

5:45 pm - Service starts
8:00 pm - A group of us will go to dinner at DK Mexican (Optional)
About the people who have attended with us in the past:
Some have never been to church, others haven't been in 20 years, and some from other faiths and religions. Some have had bad experiences and are willing to give it another try.
Hillsong is a new genre of church which is nothing like you have experienced and would love for you to join me.
Each Sunday nearly 10,000 under 45's (and some older!) attend a service at the Dominion theatre. The music is rock mixed in with songs of house. The lights are turned off and people are dancing like crazy! (if you don't like loud music, you can sit in the back!)
The sermons are more like what you would hear at a leadership confrence. Key information on how to live healthier lives and love more freely. My life has been transformed by adapting their approach to issues such as rejection, judgment, bitterness and so many more, and would love to see you benefit from it too.
You don't need to be a Christian or believe in God to attend. All are welcome that would like to meet new people and enjoy a different type of Cultural experience.
To help you understand that Christianity varies from church to church, and also within each of those churches people will have different beliefs. Here are my views...
I'm very open minded to listening to all people's points of view and am respectful of them.
My Christian views on who we love & how we love are not bibilical in reference, as I don't feel God restricts us in this way. God wants us all to love more, and not judge others. I'm more connected to the spirit of God and the feeling of Love, than what is written. This is where my warm glow comes from and engery to host all these events for you.
I believe that the Church provides an extended family of friends to support you in life. I've been witness to amazing transformation in people who have found a community in the church and for those that are on this path, I'm happy to help you find a home in the Church.
SINGLE AND LOOKING?
Recently we were asked to stand if we were single and nearly 80% stood. If you'd like to meet new people that value friendship first - this is a great place to socialise!
Chruch is a lot of fun, and I really hope that by hosting these events, your eyes and heart will be opened.
There's no meet up fee, but giving generously in the collection box is always a nice way to say thank you. £10 is suggested, but you can give more or less depending on your current life situation.
CAN'T MAKE THIS EVENT?
I've had a lot of people emailing and asking about how to attend on your own.
They have 5 services each Sunday. Check here for the service times as it varies on season: http://hillsong.com/uk/centrallondon/
Going to church is all about finding friends to support you on your life journey. This church is like going to any other meetup on your own. It's like a huge social club.
As you walk into the theatre, there are always people who will be there to greet you and chat. You can walk up to anyone and say, Hello, it's my first time. After the service look for the green signs in the photo that says after service hang out. They will link you up to the place everyone is going to dinner.
If you are thristy for soul growth, this is a great place to start. It may seem overwhelming at first, but just keep going back.
I have a little message on my heart I'd like to share with you:
Please note, I do not work for Hillsong, nor do I serve on their team. My service to God is this meetup and our community.
My motto is: I give to you, so that you feel loved and share love openly with others.
My aim is to create a community of people who give to other communities of people in need.
My goal is to inspire others in a journey of self love and to be authentic always.
