Just for you! I have arranged a special tour of the magnificent Central Hall Westminster!

They say: As a landmark Grade II* listed building in the shadow of Westminster Abbey and Big Ben, Central Hall Westminster is a must-see attraction when visiting this iconic part of London. Our guided tours to our premises, introduces visitors to our unique history and beautiful architecture. The tour covers the past 100 years of Central Hall Westminster’s history and includes a visit to our skyline terrace, which overlooks central London.
Tour highlights: Led by our knowledgeable volunteer hosts, our the tours give visitors an insight into Central Hall Westminster’s fascinating origins, architectural wonders, and thriving Methodist community.

Architectural highlights include our magnificent Great Hall, featuring Europe’s largest self-supporting domed ceiling and original 4731-pipe Arthur Hill and Son organ, and our sweeping Grand Staircase inspired by the Paris Opera House.

You will also see the Wesleyan Methodist Historic Roll, an exquisite set of leather-bound volumes containing the names of over 1m contributors who contributed one Guinea to the Wesleyan Methodist Twentieth Century Fund between 1899 and 1904.

After our tour, we will hear an organ recital which will be followed by Tea & Biscuits.

The Meetup fee for this event is £3.00 – which is payable on the day.
