To mark the 50th anniversary of its foundation, the Council on Christian Approaches to Defence and Disarmament (CCADD), in conjunction with the Department of War Studies, invite you to a major lecture to explore the ethical and legal challenges posed by war.
Sir Adam Roberts was until July of this year President of the British Academy. He is Emeritus Professor of International Relations at Oxford University and a Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Politics and International Relations. He is a leading international authority on international relations, law and ethics.
The lecture will be introduced by the Principal, Sir Richard Trainor and the discussion will be chaired by Lord Harries, Gresham Professor of Divinity, former Bishop of Oxford and President of CCADD.
A wine reception in the Great Hall foyer will follow the lecture. :)
