We're going to watch the 2015 Super Bowl this Sunday 1st February!
The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL), the highest level of professional football in the United States. The Super Bowl is the most watched American television broadcast of the year, and is also among the most-watched sporting events in the world, third to soccer's UEFA Champions League final and El Clásico in Spain.
Because of the high viewership, commercial airtime during the Super Bowl broadcast is the most expensive of the year, leading to companies regularly developing their most expensive advertisements for this broadcast. Singers and musicians including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Whitney Houston have performed during the event's pre-game and halftime ceremonies.
MEETING POINT & TIME:
We're meeting at 10pm inside (see above for venue details). Tell the door staff that you're with the "American & Canadian expats" and they'll give you a wristband for our area. MEET PEOPLE:
From 10pm to 11pm, you'll have a chance to meet other people in our group. We'll give everyone name badges to make it easy to meet others.
At 11pm we'll get seated with drinks and food, in time for the kickoff at 11.30pm.
The venue is charging our group just £10 including a free beer.
I'll send our final guest list to the venue at 1pm on the day of the Super Bowl. You need to add your name to the guest list on our Meetup page. If you're American or Canadian then you can add yourself to the American & Canadian expats guest list here:
Otherwise you can add yourself to the Sports Fans In London guest list here:
It's going to be a great evening and Super Bowl event, look forward to seeing you there! :)
