Did you know that London used to have a second underground railway besides the large network of the tube?
On this Tour you'll join Michael as you search for it by foot through central London. There are also many abandoned stations of London Underground of which you will see some remains like still existing station buildings. This fascinating walk starts at King´s Cross Station at the very beginning of the history of London Underground and will end up at Waterloo where you can see what was the former, now mostly disused terminal of Eurostar.
If you are keen for more we´ll add some extra bonus at the end of the tour (will need a Oyster Card as it includes a short ride on the tube).
Please note: You'll have a look for remains of disused stations and other interesting railway related sights above ground but unfortunately you won´t be able to get underground.
Languages: My native tongue is German which means you can get this tour in German as well. Just ask me at the beginning of the tour.
