Wednesday night gaming

If you are new to London on Board check out this guide for new players. If you have any questions on the night or are having trouble getting into a game, then look out for the night's host, listed to the right.

If you plan on attending please RSVP. We only have 50 chairs and it gets uncomfortable for everyone if more people than that turn up. Similarly, please change your RSVP to no if it turns out you can't make it.

    An exhausting, but deeply satisfying game of High Frontier where Andrew, Riccardo and I scooted around the near Solar System while Simon's eternally cash-strapped European Space Agency established a multi-decade long tradition of crashing into the surface of Mars (prevented from happening for the fifth time on the final turn only by a cash injection from NASA).

      Also; Hanabi with Andrew, Nadine and Bonnie Kate. Great fun as always and a good, if slightly unfortunate 21. Oh, and Tok Tok Woodman happened.

      Ohhhh, *now* he tells me its not an RPG! I was entirely 'in character' (-:

    Well, that was *another* mess-up by the Herring - when will they learn? Well done to Bijan for sorting out an alternative at v. short notice. Game-wise, I managed to do so spectacularly badly at High Frontier it had comedy value! Thanks to Lloyd for teaching so patiently, and Andrew and Riccardo for not mocking my appalling play )-;

    Know this is an early shout but does anyone fancy giving Small World a shot? It's pretty fun: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_World_(board_game)

    I'll be bringing bremerhaven, rallyman, and maybe one or two others.

      Sure thing I'll wait until then. I was going to do the short game since I assume it is everyone's first go at it.

      March 26, 2014

    • Tom C.

      Hey Ian. If you can stretch to a 4th I'd like to try this too.

    I feel like running another High Frontier game. Any interest? (No Colonisation rules/modules. Base game only).

    March 25, 2014

    • Simon H

      Ooh, High Frontier? Looks like that's my evening blocked booked! Only played once before (under the expert tutelage of Paul A) so still require a certain amount of hand-holding (-;

      March 26, 2014

    • Riccardo F.

      I'm interested

    It is not a sign of the apocalypse, I am host for tonight. I am the large character (in all aspects) with the raucous laughter. I will be keeping an eye out so if in doubt never fear, I will spot you anyhow.

    Would love to come but the earliest I can make it is 18:45. Is that just too late?

    March 25, 2014
