The first in this series of three, standalone, weekly interactive presentations will cover how to find and generate great lyric ideas and plan a well-structured original song.

Two subsequent weeks will cover comprehensive techniques available to develop and enhance those ideas into finished lyrics covering imagery, rhyme, meter, storytelling, wordplay and singability.

By analysing contemporary and classic songs you will learn the elements of what makes a great lyric and invaluable advice on each of those elements that contribute to a balanced whole.

The session is suitable for beginner and intermediate songwriters, whether pure lyricists or composers.

There is more than enough information each week to be taken as a standalone session and the price is discounted by 15% to £17 each.

However, sign up for all three sessions on this page and the total is only £47:

Tea, coffee and water will be provided free of charge. There are only 11 places available so please book in advance.
