Come along on Friday 20th September to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre to see William Shakespeare's play 'As You Like It'.
About the play
‘...tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones, and good in everything.’
Act III, scene 2
A firm favourite among Shakespeare’s comedies and featuring some of his best-loved characters, As You Like It runs the glorious gamut of pastoral romance. A series of mistaken identities and mishaps in the Forest of Arden ultimately sees new friendships formed, and families and lovers reunited.
The play was written in 1599.
Tickets are £5 each for standing and from £23 for seating.
Book your own ticket here - https://basket.shakespearesglobe.com/8586/8863
If tickets sell out online, you can get one on the day by queuing outside the main entrance for returns at 6:00pm.
The Globe has no roof to protect the standing tickets in the yard, if it rains you will get wet.
The play starts at 7:30pm and lasts about 2h 15mins, with a 15 minute interval.
