As an added bonus there are lots of give-aways that are exclusive to this years conference, assuming that you still need yet another reason to go.

* A chance to win one a book from the O'Reilly catalogue - including topics on Java, JVM languages and software development
* A chance to win an Angry Nerds tshirts from Atlassian - probably the most sought after tshirts in the world according to Jeremy Clarkson
* Free drinks for everyone at the conference after party, sponsored by Atlassian
* Free software licence and 1 year support for any Atlassian product for a team of up to 10 people - for everyone who turns up to the event.

Breakfast and lunch is provided for you, curtsey of IBM who are also providing the venue for us.

You get all this plus a chance to talk to experts in a range of different areas and ask questions about your own challenges.  If you are feeling brave you can also share your own experiences and valuable lessons you have learnt.

So check out the meetup page to sign up and have a look at the conference website to get some ideas on what will happen.  Last year we had about 50 people miss out as the venue was full, so dont leave it too long!

Thank you
John Stevenson

So we've had a great response to the Open Conference meetup, and have already sold around half the tickets to the conference in less than 24 hours!  This just shows how successful last year's event was :o)  It's looking like they'll be sold out by tomorrow, so if you want to go, I'd suggest getting your ticket now to avoid disappointment.
