Some good news to start off your week...
Alongside developing a lot of technical talent and careers, the LJC has made many new introductions possible in London, it has lead to new startups, romance, books on Java and now the LJCs first Android game.
You will all have seen the cool characters on the LJC site, they were designed by LJC Member Daniel Smallman, check out his blog here: http://www.vanillachipcookie.co.uk
. A good few years ago I got chatting with a guy called James Cook, through the LJC, who had a personal Blackberry game, written in Java, called Max. The game was based on old 2D platform games of the SNES and Sega Megadrive era, the game play was awesome but James was not a designer so I introduced him to Dan.
Please do check out the game and let James/Dan know your feedback.
I can't help but feel like a proud father *wipes tear from eye* I wonder how long it will be until the LJCs first wedding... ;-)
