Another of Michael and Simons intensely featured wander thru the centre of Olde London Town stuffed with history and tales, the ancient alongside side city skyscrapers. Meet new friends and socialise whilst taking in: Old city wall, Old Hallows by the Tower with its amazing treasures including a Saxon and Roman street preserved in the crypt. Bevis Marks Synagogue - oldest in the UK, Gothic churches, beautiful Turkish baths, eventually reaching the modern skyscrapers inc the bizarre 'inside out' Lloyds Building....and much more. We'll have coffee and a bite afterwards. (This is part 2 of a city walk we started did in June).
Date: Sunday 29th Sept 2pm til around 4pm.
Place: Tower Hill Tube - in front of the little 'Tram cafe' (N.B there are two tube exits).
Finish: Bank tube
