Notting Hill Walk

Join Michael and Simon’s guided walk around this feature packed area: 20+ stops each with commentary - famous and secret sites. We like to pack stuff in! Stops include: colourful Portobello Rd of saturday market fame, a Carmelite Monastery, skirt around the mighty westway, controversial Trellick tower, The Electric Cinema Britain's first cinema, see the Tabernacle arts centre where the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd rehearsed, Rosemede gardens where Hugh Grant smooches Julia Roberts, Samarkand Hotel where sadly Jimi Hendrix slept his last, plus delightful mews, beautiful garden squares, and lots more...... after all that we'll relax and socialise with tea/coffee and perhaps a bite. Meet: Just outside Notting Hill tube station.

Length of Walk: About 4 miles

Finish: Ladbrook Grove tube around 4pm. Pace: Quite gentle!

Guides: Simon [masked]) & Michael [masked]). Please note: We'll be there 10 minutes early, try to be on time, but if you're running late our first stop Ladbrooks square.
Cost: £5 per person
*Disclaimer: attendance is at your own risk*

Thanks for helping make my trip to London enjoyable. Great to get out of the middle of town and see a neighborhood that is gentrifying is still so culturally diverse.

If you're coming on the Notting Hill walk Notting Hill tube has several exits but we're meeting at the exit which is near RBS bank - on the Notting hill gate rd. Michael will no doubt have his red hat on!

Oh no!! I live in this area and would LOVE to come on this walk but I am going away this weekend.
Hope it is going to be repeated at some time in the future. Enjoyed the Shoreditch and Hoxton walk. Very interesting commentary from both Simon and Michael.

    Hi all
Hope you can join me and Michael next Sunday at Notting Hill for a star studded walk.
Apologies for any confusion; we switched location from Fitzrovia to Notting Hill when We realised it would overlap a similar walk that was taking place the following fortnight. We wouldn't want to replicate ourselves!
