Gentle and restorative yoga
Come join us for gentle restorative yoga on Monday Nights! 6-7pm, great for all levels and pregnant/postnatal mamas. Gentle stretching, breathe work, and lots of time to reset and restore. We'll be outdoors in a Cal Heights location, so bring layers for and water. Register to reserve your spot for semi-private yoga - no drop-ins. $10/class or purchase a package. What we're about

Long Beach Prenatal Yoga was started by Jenni Brandon in 2013 with an emphasis in bringing safe, alignment-based prenatal yoga to the Long Beach area. Prenatal yoga can provide both physical and mental support for the moms to be, as well as creating community that goes beyond the mat. Long Beach Prenatal Yoga strives to provide a forum where women can connect and share their stories, ask questions, and come together to celebrate pregnancy!

What to expect: Whether you are a new yogi or have been practicing yoga before your pregnancy, Jenni's Prenatal Yoga classes are great to attend while you are pregnant. Classes are in a flow-style of yoga, meaning that we connect breath and movement and flow through poses with an alignment-based focus. Poses are designed to strengthen the body in preparation for birth as well as focusing on poses that help alleviate common pregnancy discomforts such as lower back pain, headaches, shortness of breath, swelling in ankles, etc. Modifications for pregnancy will be given, such as the use of blocks, straps, and blankets to allow you to fully enjoy poses while making them accessible. Come move and flow with baby and feel great all through your pregnancy and birth!
