Looking for fun local activities, fun trips (local and international), and enjoy making new friends? We are a fun group of active people who love to travel. Some of the things we like to do are:

Hiking, Happy Hour, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Birding, Beach Volleyball, Cruising, Festivals, Wine Tasting, Running, Pickle Ball, Surfing, Scuba Diving, Motorcycle Riding, Romantic weekends, Singles Trips, Comedy Clubs, Girl's weekends, and River Cruising.

Whether your goal is to find fun activities, meet new people, find fun people to travel with or just make new friends, this group is for you. If you have any activities that you would like to do, feel free to suggest them to me!

Bird Walk in Bolsa Chica Preserve

Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve

If you like being outside and looking at birds, join us for another fun walk with Bob Schallmann as the leader. Bob is an Ornithologist (aka Birder) who can help identify all the birds we see! Bring binoculars (or we can share ours too) and your camera, wear hiking shoes or tennis shoes, and a jacket. You may want to wear a hat and sunscreen too. * Please note, dogs are not allowed at Bolsa Chica Preserve so please don't bring your dog to this event. Just an FYI.

Scuba Diving Catalina Weekend


Cost:$550 per person (double occupancy) Join us for a fun scuba weekend in Catalina with Jade Scuba Adventures! * We will be taking the 6:30 PM ferry from Long Beach to Avalon, CA. * We will kick off the trip with a night dive at the Casino Point Dive Park. * Lodging will be at the diver friendly SeaPort Village Inn. * Sat will include 2 dives from the Scuba Cat and 1 day dive at the park with another night dive * Sun will offer 3 day dives at the dive park as well. There is so much to see in this area, that we can always find something new! * Sun evening return ferry will depart Avalon at 6:15 PM, arriving at the Long Beach ferry terminal at 7:30 PM What's Included: Cost includes 2-nights hotel, round-trip ferry, plus 8 dives (2 night dives and 4 day dives at Casino Point Dive Park and 2 dives off Scuba Cat at various sites around Catalina Island) If you'd like more "dive time," we can accommodate your request for an additional $50. There is a 6:00 AM ferry departure from Long Beach. Early Sunday ferry is also an option at 6:00 AM. What's Not Included: *Rental gear (if needed) is available at $50 per day. You can also call Ashley at[masked]. * Parking at the ferry terminal is about $17/day and is NOT included in the price. Uber may be cheaper and a better option. * Food is not included TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT: A deposit of $250 is required with the balance of $300 due by 5 March.

Hike: Palos Verdes Bluff Trail (aka Palos Verdes Nature Preserve)

Palos Verdes Bluff Trail is a 2.7 mile loop trail in the Portuguese Bend Reserve near Rancho Palos Verdes. It features spectacular vistas and maybe we’ll see some wildflowers. This trail is rated as moderate. Bring your binoculars as there are interesting birds along the trail. Wear hiking or tennis shoes. Bring water, a hat, and don’t forget your sunscreen. We’ll park and meet at the end of Crenshaw Blvd. It's about a 45 minute drive from Downtown LB to the end of Crenshaw Blvd.

Scuba Dive Against Debris | Beach Clean-Up

Join Jade Scuba Adventures in their Dive Against Debris (one time training required). Since this is an ocean health initiative, training course is as low as possible and rentals are half off for the dive. Jade SCUBA Adventures will provide mesh bags to each participant as well. Not a certified scuba diver? Come out and clean up the beach while we clean up the ocean! Schedule: 7:00 - 7:30AM - Check-in for training 7:30 - 8:45AM - Dive Against Debris class/Q&A 8:45AM - Check-in for Dive only 8:45 - 9:15AM - Gear up 9:30AM - Enter water for the dive | Beach Clean-up begins ~ 10:15AM - Dive concludes 10:30AM - Marine debris is compiled, sorted, and recorded Training will include discussing methods of maintaining buddy contact, when to leave debris behind and when to take it, safe methods of removing marine debris, what materials are important to remove, and more. Training course is $30. If you already have the Dive Against Debris Specialty, be prepared to share a photo of your card and join us for the dive for free! The Dive Against Debris Specialty counts toward both your Advanced and Master Scuba Diver Certifications. After the dive, we will sort through the debris and categorize it it to report into Project Aware. All learning material will be emailed to participants before the event.
