UPDATE 1/12/19 – Tomorrow’s event is still on. It looks like the snow, if we get any at all, will be just flurries. I’m kind of hoping we get a touch of snow myself. This will add to the peace and tranquility of our walk. This is a multi-group event and the response to this event has been overwhelming. There may not be enough parking in the parking lot so some may have to park on Smith’s Rd and walk in. Read my original event post on what to bring but dress warm and also bring headphones if you want to be at one with yourself. I may do brief Reiki healing for those that want to partake and I’ll bringing a sage stick for those that want to smudge and cleanse themselves of any bad energy. See you tomorrow.
Start 2019 off right with a beautiful walk in nature. Invigorating your soul and spirit, as well as your body. Nature is so grounding, relaxing, and mind clearing. Capture all the beautiful sounds, smells, and sites this nature preserve has to offer.
This walk is for everybody. Dress accordingly for the weather. I suggest you bring a camera, water, energy food like fruit or energy bars and wear comfortable footwear. Also, bring your friends, your positive energy, and an open spirit.
This will be a simple, casual walk mainly intended to refresh the mind and soul and to feel a mental and spiritual connection with the surroundings.
We will start on the White Oak Trail and for those that want to continue they can walk the Black Turpelo Trail. Use the link below for more details. The trails are pretty much level so it can be enjoyed by all.
If it looks likes rain you will get a cancelation e-mail that I canceled the event.
